Particle Group





The particle group (containing the liquid particles) to calculate the surface tension for.

Link a liquid dynamics node to emit surface tension forces.

Mode





Select which surface tension model to use (see top for a short description).

Cohesion
Calculates surface tension based on cohesion (attraction) between liquid particles. The cohesion mode is much more forgiving and stable than the Surface Properties node.

Surface Properties
Calculates surface tension based on geometric surface properties.
This mode requires you to have a Surface Properties operator available in the scene calculating a normal and curvature for the liquid particles.

Tension Coefficient





The surface tension coefficient or the strength of the surface tension.

Sampling Radius





To find particles nearby this radius defines the maximum distance around each particle to find neighboring particles.
It is advantageous if the search radius of the Surface Properties operator equals this one.
